Elliot R Peacock is a musical theatre composer-lyricist and performer active in the fields of live performance and digital storytelling. He trained at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in Perth WA. Elliot’s work ranges from traditional musical theatre, song cycles and cabaret, through to dance works, film scores and orchestral works. In 2021 Elliot completed his thesis ‘Side by Side by Side; The influence of syllabic stress and speech structures on Sondheim’s approach to lyric-setting’ and graduated WAAPA with Upper Second Degree Honours in Music.

Elliot Peacock is further a trained musical theatre vocalist who has most recently performed as Pugsley Addams in Zealous Productions return season of The Addams Family [2022] at The Regal Theatre. He has also performed as Eugene in Drew Anthony Creative’s production of Grease:Live on Stage at Planet Royale. 


Elliot has also originated the role of Arthur Johnson in The Summer of Our Lives [2021], a new musical produced by Western Sky Projects and performed at The Blue Room Theatre, a role in which he received a Performing Arts WA award nomination for ‘Outstanding Newcomer’.


As a recognised and established composer-performer, Elliot has won several awards for his work. In 2019 he received the Channel 9 Award for Excellence in Composition/ Best Original Score for his compositions in Hy_Brain [2019], a film that has since gone on to multiple film festivals such as: Cinefest OZ [2021], The Irish Film Festival Australia [2020], Queerbee LGBT Film Festival [2020], Scifi Film Festival [2020], Utah Film Festival [2020], Australian Inspirational Film Festival [2020] and many more.

 

Elliot was also honoured to be part of the Act-Belong-Commit 24 Hour Play Generator Best Performance Winners of 2019 for his acute imitation of Mozart’s musical style.
